b.  Holiday Embrace 2004

The Holiday Embrace will be held in Gurnee, IL on Sat Jan 3, 2004.  This is a fun dinner and dance put on by the Illinois-Easter Iowa District.  There will be music, silent auction, a raffle and much more.  The cost is $35 for dinner and dance or $20 for the dance.  All proceeds support the Spastic Paralysis Research Foundation.  If interested, you must register by Dec 2.

Reading buddies is an awesome service project which involves one on one reading with students at Mendota elementary school.  I go every Tuesday at 4, if you are looking for a great on going service project, you would probably really enjoy this one.  The kids love it and look forward to seeing their buddy every week.  If you are interested, contact Rosario, at rvela@madison.k12.wi.us or 204-7858.  Or, if you just have questions, you can email or talk to Missy mljohnson9@wisc.edu
